Justin
exactly! once I release the button it goes back to 0.0 ohms.

An ohmmeter indicates resistance to current flow in ohms. Zero ohms means that number 1 wire is completely connected to number 2 wire with NO resistance. As if it were just one wire.... That make any sense?

Yeah I got the ohm's thing figured out. There is no reading when I check the button. I have to continuely hold the button in before I get any reading at all. I checked at the dealer and the button is $20.00

So I guess that is the next step.

Thanks, Tony

Sounds to me like the button is working properly. It's a momentary switch, you don't have it connected properly. Go back to my earlier post and connect it the way I explained.

Dave I'm scratching my head on this one. I have one black wire from the shifter connected to the yellow/black, and the yellow/green. I have the other black wire connected to a ground. The orange/yellow, and the dark blue wire are not even connected at this point! The result is only when I hold the button in will the tranny shift out of O/D. Sorry guys for being so ignorant but I've been over this thing till I don't know what else to do.

Well get out the idiot hat because it clearly belongs on my head. After my reading comprehension finally started to work I realized what the problem "WAS"

I wired one black wire from the shifter to the yellow/black and the second black wire from the shifter to the yellow/ dark wire. Well guess what....it works like it should.

Thanks Guys,

Wow I'm sorry to lead you down the wrong path. I didn't know it was a momentary switch. Thought It was an on off. Sorry I guess I will keep my mouth shut Unless I really know something.
Sorry again
Justin
