OK guys, I'm looking for a paint codes for a White truck with the silver or grey stripe that is at belt line.

The order code for that color scheme was 6CP. "Bright White" was PW7, "Sabre Gray Metallic" was PS7.

I have PW7 as a primary paint, but QW7 as a secondary paint code. Do you know what color QW7 is? I can't find it in the service manual.

I have a white truck that i'm re-painting and I want the center section the silver/gray with more of a blueish hue to it. I saw a truck with the color I want but i've never see it anymore. Charger what color is the QW7? Is it a silver/gray/blue color?

Sorry I can't help, that's what I was asking. What color is QW7? I just bought a new truck and it is all white, but the sticker under the hood says the secondary color should be QW7. I would like to go to a blueish/silver two tone also.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but have a paint code question. If the primary paint code is PR4 and the secondary shows to be QR4 that would mean the truck was a factory solid Poppy Red correct. Does anyone have a list of the paint codes they can add. I searched and the only results I got was answers to other paint questions.

 

The PR4 is called flame red.

Where you came up with the QR4 I don't know. It isn't listed in the Dodge paint codes from the factory. For the flame red base they show as the optional colors.

Sabre Gray Metallic 6CA
Light Sand Metallic 6DQ
Silver Star Metallic 6CT
Bright White 6CB

 

It is hard to read exactly what the sticker says but it looks like is says Secondary Paint QR4. The truck is solid thats why I am curious what this stands for. The paint code I found from dodge said PR4 is "Poppy Red" in 1993 but later models used the same code but called it Flame Red.

 

The 93 Dodge dealer build books do not list it as poppy red. It is called flame red.

the truck was a solid silver metallic so i dont understand there being two.
My 4th line of tag reads APA PAC QAC , thnx

 

Dodge did some weird things with paint codes. Alot of times the first letter could be anything its the last two that count. Like pr4 and qr4 can both mean red. I have a 90 that is black and it has a primary and a secondary paint code. I forget off the top of my head what they are but it is the same deal just the first letter is different.

 

This is from the 1993 FSM and is consistent with that shown in the 1990-1993 Dodge Truck Parts Catalog (Aug '92). ~

 

We still need the code deciphered, QAC and PAC , so its the AC that counts
