Need dimensions of "top hat"

I lost my stupid "top hat" from my injector pump and I cannot find a place to buy one anywhere so I decided I'm going to make one. Can anyone give me some dimensions so I can make a drawing of the thing? Thanks.

I would get some gasket material and make a gasket for it(evan thow it don't need it!)

then you will have a template to start with!

Weld a nut in the center with a bolt thru it, for the smoke screw..........you may need to raze the center up a bit so that the spring isn't over loaded!!!!!!!

These guys have a large box of used parts from junk pumps, they gave me a throttle lever when I bought a reseal kit from them. If they have it I am sure you can get it and if not they could probably get it for you. Call them on the phone though because they are not good at getting back by email. They seem like good people.

Scheid Diesel or any Bosch shop, give them Bosch part number:

1 460 500 307 known as 'Spring Seat'.

I do not have the dimensions but I have a picture of one.

You might try looking for a cupped washer at a good hardware supplier.

I have seen brass cupped washers under the screw terminals of Intermatic Time Clocks like the ones used on pools and spas.

It looks like it is only to cage the spring.

Pensacola didn't really care about my problem. I guess they like to make money. Anyways, I found a cummins marine-oriented dealer locally that I'm going to check out tomorrow hopefully. I hope they have what I need.
