need a couple torque specs for a few bolts on the rear end.

need a couple torque specs for a few bolts on the rear end.

I need to torque specs for:

the 4 backing plate bolts
8 hub/axle bolts
wheels studs
wheel cylinder bolts.
axle retainer locknut - 120-140 ft lbs, backed off 120 degrees

There you go.... Filled in your blanks. Had to get the book out. I just tighten stuff to what feels right.

Im not sure why the book would give such a wide range of specs. Like the backing plate bolts. 65 to 105 is a pretty wide range.

'Cause it's not that critical. "Tight" is good enough.

Thats what I do anyway. Don't get to worried about stuff unless its internal and I rarely get there.
