Rear shocks are on the way!!!! Rear shaft should be done tomorrow too.

Just have to break in the clutch for a while and then add the dennyt pin, 3200 spring, turn up pump and get on it!!

Really curious to see what this thing will do.

It is easy to rebuild.

Here is the kit you need (its actually a HY35 rebuild kit):

If you can find a thread to rebuild a HX35 or the like it will be almost identicle.

So my driveshaft is shortened but no one in town has a 1350/1410 conversion joint. I have a huge headache from trying to find one too. Found one company who is phoning tomorrow to see if he can get it (neapco is the only manufacturer that seems to make it).

I also ordered a fluidampr today.

I noticed it sure vibrates at idle alot more than i remember, not sure if its from the clutch or the new trans mounts, hence the fluidamper.

What's the conversion u-joint for? Did the shop build the driveshaft with a 1350 yoke?

The Gear vendors only uses a 1350 yoke. I figured i would keep the shaft yoke original to save money, might have been better to have them put a 1350 on it too in hindsight.

I didn't realize the Gear Vendors only used a 1350 output. Thanks for the info.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say thanks for being the guinea pig on the crossover steering setup for a 0-2" lift. It will certainly help out when I finally get around to lifting my truck in a couple of years (I'm planning on 2"-3").

The output yoke is essentially off of a T-400 transmission. Another guy on here just put a new G56 and GV in his '92. Had troubles finding a 1410 yoke for it as well then heard why.

Maybe Gear Vendors should consider offering or making a larger output yoke for this reason. They'd have to know that more trucks are using their units. At least give them an option of using the larger output yoke for a 1410 joint.

Yup, you would think they would offer different sizes but i guess not.

So i have spent 3 days on the phone trying to find this u-joint in this city and have decided every parts person here is useless.

Only company i can find that makes it is Neapco P# 2-1435.

So now i will order it from the states since they have it in stock. Another week wait, you would think i would be use to this by now.......

Finally got the driveshaft on and able to drive it. Everything is working well so far, put on about 50km picking up my campers and bringing them back into town. I do like this turbo so far, peppy! I have only seen 22psi max so far but i have been baby footing it for the clutches sake. GV makes a big difference, will do wonders for those long trips.

I have noticed it vibrates alot more at idle, assuming thats the DD clutch. Going to try and install the Fluidamper tomorrow.

I cannot wait to get this clutch broke in so i can install the fuel pin and turn the pump up!!!

Well im pretty happy with the new turbo so far. Unloaded WOT nets me 24PSI with stock pump settings, not too shabby. I can actually feel the power increase when the turbo lights up now, crazy. Sure makes the motor feel sluggish down low, might need to play with the AFC but i will wait until i put in the 3200 spring.
