Installed the 3200 spring and turned up the fuel, much better now. I can hit about 1210 EGT on flat pulling the camper, should be enough for now. Boost went up to 36psi and increases much quicker.

Haha very true, i am already bracing myself financially for compounds.

I wanted to turn it up more but was a chicken and didn't feel like finding runaway by myself, especially with a camping trip next weekend and about 2000kms to travel.

So i have decided i am still not happy with the ride of my truck. Thinking this winter i will put in some 63'' rear leafs and maybe....just maybe.............. pull the trigger on coils up front.

I am liking the power though for now. I still need to turn it up more and then probably compounds.

If you come up with anything that helps the ride quality, be sure to post it.

Ya thats my fear, having to get a different truck all together to get the ride i want. I will try rear leafs first and see what difference that will make. Relatively cheap and easy to do VS front coils.

I have some 5x14's on the way. They are originally from dieselautopower.com, i bought them slightly used from a member on 1stgen.org.

Glad i could help.

I faced the same decisions. As much as I like the 1st gen trucks, it is amazing to feel the dramatic difference in ride quality of a 2nd gen 12v truck. The coils with the different suspension are like riding on an air mattress in comparison. I am still amazed at the difference every time I go between them.
