Just an update on the crossover steering, the kingpin caps come with a preload adjustment bolt on the top. This eliminates the spring and keeps a constant adjustable tension on the kingpin bushing. I am curious to see how it works. They have a cap with the adjustment for the other side aswell which i ordered. I will get pics when it arrives.

Well i am ordering Alcan 2'' lift springs tomorrow aswell as Bilstein shocks all around. Will be running air bags in the rear too.

Going to add all greasable bushings/bolts to the mix.

What size tires are you running right now and are you planning on going taller when you get the new springs on? I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts on the 2" lift Alcans and Bilstein shocks, as I am seriously leaning towards this on my own truck, pending funds for the project. Also, what part number Bilsteins did you order? Thanks.

265/75-16 i think. Depends how much it lifts the truck, may step up to 33's.

I actually ordered 5'' lift for the rear to rid of the 3'' block and asked them to hold on the bushings as i will be installing full greasables all around.

I had them make the back springs pretty soft as i will be using air bags for towing/hauling.

It was ~$1000USD+shipping for springs and $420CAD for shocks.

Shocks:

I ordered 4 of the 33-186542 (0-2.5'' lift) as they told me the front and back are the same shock number now.

Interesting on the shocks, I thought the rear shocks were 2" longer than the fronts. Thanks for the info.

I'm interested in hearing the ride report when you get done with it.

Also, was about 440USD for all greasable bushings with 5/8's bolts from jungle. This includes all spring eye bushings, rear spring shackle bushings and front spring rear frame bushings/shackles and mounts.
