My last ride...

Well it appears to be the last big ride for the ol girl, as Tuesday I will be heading about 215 miles to NJ to purchase(and tow home) another truck, an m1008 Chebby. Ive always wanted a military truck whether a m1009 Blazer, or m1008 k30. Ive had a few m880's and they were trashed. since the body is getting bad on the ol girl, im just gonna part her out(not yet, dont ask yet)

I have never owned a more reliable truck/engine. Moreso the engine. Only time it left me stranded was a broken steel fuel line that went to a remote filter mount, which was replaced with flex and no problems. No rear end problems, no tranny problems, no noises, a few mounts eng/tranny both, a water pump, and that about it. Runs like a champ, and i have no worries running her Tuesday. Its gonna suck going from a truck with some nuts, to one thats been de-nutted.

A chevy say it isn't so. I can't say, to much, I inherited a 94 G.M.C. suburban, a couple of weeks ago. It's four wheel drive, and fully loaded, and a really nice ride. The only real problem, is gas mileage, but I plan working on that issue next spring. The old 93 will still b e my main go geter this winter.

Why not just use your parts in one of those government surplus crew cab bodies?
