my current Dodge diesel project
the power steering pump with can, hydroboost unit, and mastercylinder are all just reman parts from Orielly auto parts. (actually the master cylinder is new) application was 99' Dodge Ram 2500. be aware there is a core for the pump, and the hydroboost unit. and, be warned that the hydroboost does not come with the plunger/spring/spring retainer/mastercylinder adapter. i cheated on the cores and sent back an old hydroboost unit from a furd stupiddooty i have had laying around for years, and a chevy steering pump LOL. they will get over it LOL.
can already answer that. NO, they do not. the 99' master uses metric "bubble flare" lines. and corresponding 10mm, and 12mm nuts. the metric nuts fit the 91.5' 3/16 line just fine. so i bought some nuts, and a bubble flare tool. problem solved.
Great info on the brakes!
Looking to do this as my brakes SUCK! When they work they're not bad but when I get to sawing the wheel in a parking lot back and forth, the pedal will go to the floor and no stopy. It also happens once and a while out of the blue.
