More cheap od switch mod pics
If anyone's interested, here are more pics of my new od switch.
I drilled a 1/4" hole in the 1 1/8" rubber foot. I had to countersink it slightly on the inside, maybe 1/16" so the threads on the switch would come through enough to get the nut on. Bend the leads of the switch over before soldering the wires. The switch leads are delicate, the first one I tried soldering the wires first then bending the leads, it messed up the switch, luckily the switches come in a pack of 4. I routed the wires along the shift lever, held in place with plastic conduit. Hook one switch wire up to the orange/white wire on the od swithch, the other wire to ground and enjoy!
