I finally got around to adding a switch on the shift lever for the od.
I bought a 1 1/8" rubber foot that you'd put on a chair leg, drilled a hole and put in the switch. It just slips on the end of the shift lever. I wired it to the od switch so I can still use the new switch or the one in the dash.

I got the switch from Radio Shack part no. 275-1547. I can post more pictures if you need them. I'm making one fo my dad's truck now.
