More boost numbers!

My truck used to pull up to 33 lbs @ WO,now it will only get up to 29-30 lbs WO cause of a boost leak I found?(I assume)

is there anyway to get more boost press.other than turning in the fuel screw? that threaded arm on the wastegate doohicky of the hx35 can a guy extend that to not allow the wastgate to open as much and gain higher boost? or is this a bad idea on the CTD Just would like to get it up there say 36 - 38 lbs get a lil more pullin power? Am I thinking this out correct or am I exposing my newbness to much

Thanks for your help and knowledge,MIke.

Some diggin on this, sounds like the hx35 dont need to be building no ore than 35 psi...Im thinkin this should be left alone.Fix boost leaks and flog away

You would actually shorten the rod to hold the wastegate tighter. But your stock actuator probably wont hold any more than your making now, Boost alone isn't going to give you any more power. More Fuel=More power.

Option 1: Put a valve like for a fridge ice maker line in before the wastegate actuator and choke the line as needed till the correct boost is achieved along with preloading the actuator as previously stated. It works like the orfice tube in an air conditioner. Keep in mind the HX35/H1C like max boost around 40psi. If it starts sounding like it has farm packs the exhaust housing is too small.

Option 2: Just put an S400 on it. I bury the 60 psi gauge on mine coming out of the hole with the sled. Maybe not the best for a daily driver.
