The only thing Delphi will make is the pump. The fuel line and spacer is going to be a cummins thing.

Fuel Supply Line: #3914753 | $35.74
Fuel Supply Line Seals (Banjo in Filter Head): #3963983 | $1.27 ea.
Gaskets: #3939258 | $2.10 ea.
Spacer: #3914284 | $12.86

Total: $241.95 before tax

hopefully delphi can do better on the pump price and maybe the other parts as well!
The ONLY thing I found that was cheaper through Case dealer was the fuel line. They quoted me 22.50 for the line. The pump is now 339.26 through case.

Mike/Loco one tried to go deeper and get Delphi to specify actual output pressure for the pump:

Here was the response:
"The HFP702 will have the exact same maximum pressure output as the Cummins 3936320. I don’t have the exact high pressure spec but I can assure you it is the same as the Cummins pump."

So does this pump from OFI have to primer button or not? Also, the top will or will not work with the cummins fuel line? I don't mind making one but I don't want to order one and then have it not work...

the HFP702 is for the 4BT. unless it works for the 6BT's and is cheaper than the HFP700 (which is specific for the 6BT's and 6CT's)? has anyone tested the output pressure on the delphi pumps? i found an authorized dealer for delphi parts in whittier yesterday. if the delphi pumps are the right ones (pressure wise) i'll go ahead and order one. however, we do need to know what the pressure is so that we don't blow the seals in our injection pumps. i'll call the dealer in whittier and see if they can't get some information for me and i'll forward that to anyone here who is considering the delphi pump.

the one we have is the 702 and it has a primer button. I don't know why we are talking about the 700. The 702 is the one we're discussing. It is listed on their site as for the 4bt but at least at some time when OFI had their cross references made it was listed as a low pressure piston for the 6BT.

Jim no I haven't tested the pressure yet. bought another truck. Makes 5 in the past year. But the 1976 D100 has 60K original and perfect adventurer sheetmetal/skin for the crew...

So we have confirmation on primer button. Cool. Now, will that replacement fuel line bolt up from the LP to the filter head? If so, I'm ordering one tomorrow.

I haven't fitted mine yet but just slaving it together shows that the fitting that the banjo will go into on the head is parallel to the block mount for the pump

Here's the latest from teh vendor, OFI. He says it is rated for 3-5 PSI.

i talked to the main man at bec's pacific in whittier earlier today. i asked him to call delphi and cummins to get specifics referring to both the cummins and delphi part numbers. since he's a company that deals in the sale of those products, i'm sure they don't mind giving out specific numbers. unlike us hobbyists calling and asking. i should hear back from him tomorrow. i'll forward any information i get to this thread.

apparently, this gives you the equivalent performance of the diaphragm pump but in a piston style. The only benefit will be it will not have the danger of rupturing like a diaphragm pump and spilling diesel in the block. bad news for you hot rodders but good news for those who like to be nice to the VE.

Well then it is not the same as the 3936320 like they said. I figured it was to good to be true. Thanks for the update. Is anyone going to put one on and see what it does????
