lift pump

lift pump starting to leak more now,I've procrastinated long enough. Is there anything I need to be aware of while I change it out?{i.e. bleeding,etc.etc.}I'll be changing the fuel filter at the same time.Any and all your answers are greatly and much appreciated. marc

not really just a simple unbolt, and rebolting everything back up. The only thing you gotta watch for is not dsropping anything down in the hole and to scrap all the old gasket off

lift pump

Well I changed out the lift pump today, when comparing the old one to the new one with the manual prime lever I couldn't believe the difference in tension.Makes me wonder if I let it go long enough to put to much strain on the injection pump,I guess time will tell.It seems to idle a little smoother if that's possible or I'm just hearing things anyways thanks to all the reading I've done on this site it made the job easy for a first timer, thanks all. marc
