Only problem I have had with the cheap LED's is that they start to flicker and die in short order. I had my cheap LED's start dying in less then a month, then I did some research on-line and found others had the same problem and when the switched to higher end LED's the problem went away. I think I payed $1-$2 per LED for my dash lights and I have been running them now for over 5 years, In the last year or so I have one or two that flicker from time to time, but that is it.

I have found that to be true also, YGWYPF IMHO. The forever led lights for my house that I bought from home depot, on sale and cheap have lasted less that a normal incandescent would have. On the other hand, I bought my leds for the dash from super bright leds online, kind of pricey, but also too bright. I would guess that somewhere in the middle is about right, as it is with all things, IMHO...Mark

I had LEDs from 20+ years ago, had 1 go out, so swapped all of them. Guess Ill see how these work. These are noticeable brighter. Ive had ebay cheap-o leds in a pinball game for 5+ years, running 24/7...still going...
