Kingpin part info needed
Hi All,
Rebuilding my front axle and screwed up the lower kingpin seal/cap that sits above the bearing race. I put it in as per the manual, concave side facing up but I now see that is wrong since the lower bearing doesn't fit that way and pictures on the internet show that the concave side should face down. I don't think I can remove the cap/seal and bearing cup without destroying the cap/seal.
Does anyone know if I can get these parts on their own from the dealer? Dealer is closed for the weekend so I can't call, and If I do destroy the cap I'd hate to have to buy a whole new kingpin kit.
Thanks,
MAX

When I bought the parts for my truck, they were all individual pieces and not a kit. They are Spicer/Dana parts and you should be able to get them for any source that sells Spicer/ Dana or after market equivalent like Moog.
