How much better milage do you get going to a 4" exhaust, i cant afford to fill my tank anymore so i don't know what my milage is now, it was 18mpg mainly city and a little highway.

I can't give you any hard numbers on the 4" mpg savings
but what you want to accomplish is to eliminate restriction to flow on the intake and exhaust end as much as possible, you will see an improvement.

I just bought a 1st gen myself and would like to do some minor mods like maybe 30 to 40hp and gain mileage as well if I can do both, if I cant, I want better mileage. My 07 gets better mileage than my 93. at 65mph my 07 gets 19 to 20 , same trip w/ 93 I get 17 mpg. with a small 14' enclosed my 07 will get 13 and the 93 gets 10mpg. In town I don't know for sure. My plans are pyro, tach, boost, FP,tires, wheels, and 30 or 40hp if I can. I dont want to smoke my G56 and dont really know the safe limit of adding hp to it.

Welcome. Like stated, read the stickys and then start working on your truck.

21.9 on my last tank but kept it below 70 mph all highway on the flats... with some good 38psi blasts for good measure. oh yah, I installed the 3200 spring on my new IP yesterday too along with an oil change. the ol dodge is happy!!

Injectors and valve adjustments can be the biggest help for MPG woes. I have gained 3-4mpg in a couple different trucks by getting the injectors cleaned and pressures reset. Valve adjustments can be good for up to 2-3mpg. Check the timing with a gauge- you can get them on ebay for $50 or so.

If you just bought the truck, change all the fluids and filters.

Daniel, where are you getting teh injectors cleaned and reset? The local injection shop here quoted me over $300 for r/r, cleaning and pop testing the injectors
I read all teh time about guys getting them done for under 415 each....
