intermittent od / wipers intermittent

Hey guys, Long time lurker and love the site. I have 92 d250 that has started acting crazy. The trans will kick in and out of overdrive going down the road. My wipers will also cycle on thier own for no apparent reason. Sometimes the wiper will cycle and the od will kick in and out at the same time. I have done the pot mod and done away with the throttle position sensor. Checked the pot and associated wiring, all good. The crank sensor checked out. I was thinking it might possibly be a bad ground. Any other ideas?

Yeah, the speedometer still works. I replaced the speed sensor about 6 months ago after it went out.
