intercooler boots

Wanting to replace my intercooler boots after noticing a couple cracks. Did some searching and looks like most of the threads are dated. Stylinmotors website is nonexistent now days.

Has anyone bought new ones lately. Really want to go with hump hoses. Checked frozenboost but their hump hoses seem to short.

Anyone got a good source?

Think that company is owned by frozenboost. Same site setup, prices, inventory and everything. Those hump boots are only 3" long too. Think they would be to short. Anyone tried these?

I have them on my PS IC and coolertubz. The work fine but would like another inch in length for piece of mind.

Ive seen people run 300psi? rated industrial hose. When I find some that's what I'm replacing mine with.

2.5". I've ordered several things from frozenboost and this looks like the same stuff and same prices. Their stuff seems legit so far. Guess I'll try to make the short ones fit.

Intercooler boots

I got some really nice boots from intakehoses.com Talk to Charlie. He is the owner and he likes happy customers. Tell him what year you have and he will get you what you need. His boots go on easy but not too easy if you know what I mean. To put his boots on I just sprayed them with some tire shine stuff and they went on without having to heat them up or soak them in brake cleaner like some guys had to do with other boots. For a second gen you need 3" on one end and 3.63 on the other with clamps to fit that. A 3.5 clamp will not work they don't have the range to open any wider. The angle I found is not that critical. I read somewhere that the boot on the turbo side is 22 degrees. The 45 degree boots fit just fine.

96 Dodge Cummins 5 speed Man, BHAF, ported exhaust man, $100 fuel plate, IP timing advanced to 15.5 degrees, boost elbow, stock injectors, stock turbo, Corsa diesel muffler. 27 MPG Hwy with 4 passengers.
