Installing a Potentiometer in place of the TPS

Ramdriver15 if I read your post right you put the center wire to the TPS and the other 2 to the TPS connector?
If so, that is why it doesn't work.

try switching the outside wires that you plugged into the factory plug then re adjust the ****. That should take care of the cruise. Or before you do that, just try and adjust the **** in small increments.
yes you can do that but the pot is more for making the tranny shift where you want it to, and for people with worn out tps sensors they may have to mash it and then let off to get it into od and thats what they are trying to elimanate.
