18 gauge would be plenty big. There's not a lot of current involved on 5v sensor circuits.

My local radio shack carries the potentiometers and *****. If you have one, you might check there. If not, ebay may have what you need.

Ramdriver15 if I read your post right you put the center wire to the TPS and the other 2 to the TPS connector?
If so, that is why it doesn't work.
Center wire goes to the center pin on the connector.

try switching the outside wires that you plugged into the factory plug then re adjust the ****. That should take care of the cruise. Or before you do that, just try and adjust the **** in small increments.

I feel like an idiot, but can't I just push the button on the dash if I dont want the OD to kick in??? then when I want it, push the button again??? or will that wear out the TPS?

yes you can do that but the pot is more for making the tranny shift where you want it to, and for people with worn out tps sensors they may have to mash it and then let off to get it into od and thats what they are trying to elimanate.
