Inlet thread to the almighty VE

Anyone tell me what size the inlet thread to the almighty VE is? This way maybe I'll stop hounding KTA with questions.

Which one Bill? The one right in the case or the one in the adaptor that is there.

I think I used a 3/8 to 1/2 reduce NPT not sure if it is the correct thread or not but I was able to use it without messing the threads up in the pump and it still steals perfectly fine

I just got done checking on my parts pump. The inlet in the pump body is metric, big surprise there, 12mm x 1.5 this is also the same thread that the banjo fitting on my 2000 had before I replaced them with a big line kit. The adaptor that is normally there is what I think is 1/4 straight pipe thread. 18 threads per inch. My 1/4" NPT taps fit perfectly only they are tapered.

I guess it was a 1/4 to 1/2 adapter then I couldn't remeber what size exactly but I knew it was NPT

IIRC AN fittings are the same as JIC, They both have a 37* angle on the sealing surface.
