Injector lines

I need a diagram showing which line connects to which port on the ve pump. I should've marked them before I disconnected them, but I was rushing to rebuild the pump.

This is the location and the order you take them off so reverse the order for installation... Starting with the dv just towards the pass side from the braket on back of pump and heading around the pump in a counter clockwise direction from front of truck.

2,6,3,5,4,1

However 4&1 should be swapped in the location... It's just easier to take off in that order.
Actual order around pump is 2,6,3,5,1,4

In a picture from the manual.

The lines will naturally lay in only one way. Don't bend anything.

I just grabbed that diagram out of the manual. Casual observation would indicate that it is a spark distributor diagram. That, some understanding (rotation determination) and some care when disassembling, such as marking #1, should be enough information to assemble the lines.

I just looked at my engine, and it's obvious that the distributor pump (VE) turns clockwise looking at the front of it. Looking at the discharge valves, it would be counter clockwise.

It stands to reason that 1 and 6 would line up and the others not if you had the rotation wrong. Figure it CCW, and they should line up.

The lines laid in perfectly when you took them off. Unless you bent them, they should drop right on when you re-install them.

BTW, the reason for a forum is to open it up to all to contribute to and learn from. I'm not your private mechanic or consultant. Keep it in the forum please.

That view is from the front... So just inverse it...
