Is it true that the 89-91.5 had different size injector lines than the 91.5-93? Which ones are bigger?

 

Yes 89-91 nonIC'd lines are bigger id, 1.8mm vs. 1.6mm.

 

And they are routed differently.

 

I thought they were routed the same but are different lenghts?? The delivery valve holders are different lengths on a non ic pump vs. an ic pump.

 

Nope they are routed slightly different. Not sure on length. You are right on the delivery valve lengths are different, but they don't make a difference when swapping in different lines and injection pumps.

 

does an ic pump vs a non ic pump have an effect on performance?

 

The routing and mounting of the lines is totally different.

On an intercooled model the lines go in triples between the valve covers between 1-2 and 5-6 cyls. On the non-ic models its pretty much one line between each valve cover.
