How much fuel can be pushed through small stock i/c injectors. I've heard if you turn the pump up to far to make power. It can't push the fuel through the small injectors, and the pump's life will be shortened. Can you make 350hp with them?

 

as I understand it,yes. Noni/c injectors are good to about 400 hp.

 

sorry misread I think about 250 maybe 300 with the i/c inj.

 

I bet you could get 300hp or more out of stock i/c injectors. I made 307hp with my HE351 and PODs. But I think If i had the turbo i have now and had a better fuel supply and got my power to the ground then i bet I coulda broke 300hp with my stock injectors. I could hit 40 lbs of boost with my stock injectors with my HE351. They will probably keep poppin shut off solenoids though since they don't flow as much and it may shorten your pump life span. Non i/c injectors do flow more.

It seems like 300 would be a real chore to achieve with a ve pump and stock IC injectors. guys have a hard time doing it with non-ic injectors.

 

Most ive seen is 270hp out of IC injectors, Dunbars with a 12cm housing on the stock charger. Non's should get to or a hair over 300hp.

 

I'm looking for over 350 hp. So It's time to upgrade.
