I noticed my truck ran bad when I picked it up from the transmission shopp. Just had a transmission rebuild. Popped the hood and the inj pump was rattloing around and the nuts were loose. How do I get my original timing back?

Match up the match marks. There should be a chisel mark on the pump and another on the timing case near the nut that is easy to reach. Match those marks up and you are back to stock.

And what fun would that be? As long as it's loose, rotate it over until it is almost touching the head before tightening it down.

Seriously, that's like finding a good bottle of scotch with a loose cork... and just hammering the cork back in.
