I'm a straight-pipe nay-sayer now
I'm fixing to hang this fat boy under my heap . . .. https://dynamic.donaldson.com/webc/W...10&item=163863
From what Ive been noticing If you want it quiet in the cab, the end of the exhaust needs to be outside of the body lines. My Dad has 4 inch straight pipe on his 01 and it comes straight out the back and about 3 inches farther then the bumper, You would swear from in the cab that it is silent, no drone, no noise whatsoever. my 5" mbrp with the muffler in backwards has a bit of a drone at 2400 rpm, but Im 21, I dont care.

Well got the exhaust on..
I bought a muffler from a fellow DTR member..
M110189
it has a 4" inlet and outlet so I had to modify that to work with my 3" exhaust.. down the road I will get all 4" pipe, but I just need to get this truck running and I wanted it to be a lot qiuet then it used to be..
here is pick of where exhaust exits

showing muffler from the rear

you can kinda see how big this muffler it is

this pic shows how I had to modify the 4" into 3"
