My 3200 spring came in from scheid today. I am excited. I'm going to load up some horses on sunday and pull around just to see what difference it makes (No, don't get upset. I wouldn't really do that, I am taking them somewhere to ride, I just am excited to see what a difference the spring and pipe together will be. I haven't hauled since I installed the pipe last Saturday..

 

Are there any good directions to exactly where the meet is gonna be held? I can mapquest it to Flemmingsburg but where is it once I get there?

 

Energy RD or #57 4.9 miles on the left, Guys we will be having pork sandwich,s and chips and some other eats. Plus port a John. I hope u all won't mind a $4.00 gate feed just to help cover the cost of the John and the Pig. Just want to break even and have a good time. U all have a safe tip. Flemingsburg is North of Mt.Sterling, which is at exit #110 on I-64, East of Lexington.

At Mt.Sterling, take Highway 11 North approximately 30 miles to Flemingsburg

Energy Road is State Highway #57.

Once you reach Flemingsburg, pick up the Highway 32 bypass to Highway 32 West a couple miles to Highway 57 South (Energy Road), to the site exactly 4.9 miles.

On Hwy.57, you will pass through a little burg called Craintown.

From that point on, Craintown Branch will follow the road on the West side.

Just before the meet grounds, you will pass a big old white barn on the right, and Branch Brothers Road on the left, then cross a bridge, and the big yellow house on the left is next.

The meet is near the big yellow house.

I think this is right; but, if it ain't, Travis can correct me.

He has been there a few times; I haven't.

 

well guys unless something changes dramatically tomorrow i'm not gonna be able to make it to the meet. i was really looking foward to a day of relaxing and truck talk but lifes been pretty crazy and i really haven't had much time with my wife and 11week old son lately. my wife being the wonderful woman that she is was still gonna let me go but i just don't think i can. you guys have fun i'll make it if i can but it doesn't seem likely at this point...

 

You better just come on up to the truck meet.

You can even bring the family.

The wife and twelve-week old kid will still be there, next weekend; the truck meet won't, until next year.

It would sort of be like skipping Christmas, or wasting a watermelon.

The meet was a success.

A good meal was eat and a lot of truck inspecting went on.

The truck that probably came the farthest, spent the least on getting there.

I think the "came the farthest spent the least" was maybe the frybrid from down Luisiana? There were several there from the bayous, several from the NE and east. Course Lyons from Florida. A bunch from KY, TN & OH. I think about 20 all together?

I think I onlytook 2 pictures, group shots. But I'll have to get my wife to download and post...

It was really good to finally put faces with names. Like WannaDiesel, seems kinda like the Wizard of OZ, but he's a real person, actually a great person, will even share his shade!

What I didn't realize is that the host is a "famous" farm activist for our state. He's spent a good bit of time and money championing the small family farm for Kentucky. It was nice to visit with him and catch up. He's already invited us back next year, something about a pull track by the lake...

So whats the dates for next year?!?!
