Guys, I had a great time at the 1st Gen KY meet. I really enjoyed talking with KRB, Wanna, Bearkiller, and others whose screen name has left me. A big thanks to Travis for having us up. You guys did a great job and I can't wait until next year. Maybe by then I will have the intercooler I got from Dave installed on my '89. I brought a guy with me who is not a member of the site but he was impressed by all the diesel trucks and knowledge in Flemingsburg. He now has a 3rd Gen but he started out in a 91 so he appreciated the lingo. Thanks again to all.

the wife and i had a great time. the quality of trucks was unreal! really makes me feel good to know there's guys who appreciate these things as much as myself.

michael, the pics are great. it's amazing how much better mine looks on film than in person . i'll drop you an email later.

you guys in that area need to not take for granted what you have up there. i saw more hotrodded diesels (dodge, ford, and gm) in 1 1/2 days there than i've seen in my whole life down here. you're really spoiled by it. i wish it was that way down here but it isn't.

thanks to everyone who made this possible (esp Travis)

I have to second that. The "hotrod" diesel population is slim to none up here. If I wander into PA a few miles its a little better, but not much. OH well, I guess Greg and myself will keep the attention for now! lol

Arrow Just My Two Cents Worth

If the next event is going to be in June, I think the second Saturday of June, like we did this time, works for me.

There are annual events, that I always attend, on both the first and third Saturdays of June, so I didn't have to make any torturous decisions.

Now all we have to decide is the date for the fall/winter version of the Flemingsburg meet.

I can make that drive twice a year . i'm gonna schedule a vacation around it next year so i can see some of the things ya'll have to do up there. sure are a lot of signs on the highway for things to see (caverns, distilleries, etc).

Count me in! What else could be better than seeing old Cummins powered trucks that scream? Get the poll rigged up so we can start voting!

I don;t know if I could make a fall event, but a two day event next year... Man that would be sweat, especially if we could camp in your yard, have a bon fire

The second weekend in June is good for me, should I mark it on my calander

Thanks again Travis, and if/when I get them installed I'll send you a pic

first of all id like to thank everyone for coming up i had a great time. kinda take it easy on the famous farm advocate thing my dad might start getting a bigger head than he already has.
i wouldnt mind seeing another meet dad and i where talking about it and it would be nice to have a 2 3 or 4 day meet. theres plenty of good riding around here bring your fourwheelers horses and fishing polls i think there would be enough activities around here to keep everyone active.
a fall meet sounds good it would be real nice if we could have it around the time of smokin the bluegrass in cynthiana so everyone could see some truckpullin and dyno's i
anything i can do to help just let me know
