when i start my 89 d250 after it warms up and drive for a while when i come to a stop it still will steadily let a small stream of white smoke. not sure what is to blame for it any ideas?

 

Does it smell like raw fuel or like coolant?

Any fuel leaks?

smells like raw fuel but there are no fue leaks or oil leaks

 

Any more problems engine miss low power, does the smoke clear up when you accelerate it, try the quick fix, new fuel filter couldn't hurt. My truck used have a low idle when the engine was hot, when I turned up the fuel screw the problem went away, sign of a weak injection pump.

 

White smoke from where? Tail pie I assume. Generally white smoke is air getting into the fuel system and throgh to the injectors. Could be bad IP or injectors too.
