how many degrees of timing advance ?
I,ve seen posted before but cant find now,does the ve pump advance timing 8 to 10 degrees above satic timing with mechanical advance as rpm increases? does anyone know how many degrees stock non i/c [or intercooled]timing is in degrees at idle and at full advance ? any info appreciated,thanks.

thanks for reply,so base timing at idle would be around 5* or 6*?,trying to make comparison to p-pump fixed timing . i converted one of my first gens to p-pump. 17* timing,215 pump,has more power in some spots in the power band,not as quik in midrange. the ve advance is very effective.
