How long do your tires last?

my old man had a set of 35in BFG all terrains that lasted him to 110,000k. all highway and didnt tow any, but he swears by them

I concur. Set of 31x10x16s on my Jeep I loved that had decent tread after 35,000 miles.

Set of 285/75/16s on my old Ford diesel. Put 30,000 on them but they were wearing worse. Problem with those tires were the D range for that size, so no more tire pressure than 45psi before they started bulging, and I hated loosing so much mileage with them so I ran them on the upper pressure range and they wore harder in the middle.

Slap some 235/85/16s on there that you can put 60-65psi in them, and I think you'd be happy. Great in the snow, not so much in mud (don't clear treads as good as Mud Terrains). They dig like heck... maybe too much sometimes like in sand! But the road wear is good for a pretty aggressive tire and they look good too.

I should have gotten them for my dually, but I wanted to save $200 for all 6 with the ones I got now. Not enough mileage on them to tell you how the ones I have are.
