Stock turbos can be modified but in my opinion, if you want or need more turbo just upgrade. I bought the HTT stage IV compressor kit and still had to turn back my fuel halfway from full to keep from frying my pistons. I still need top watch the egt's while towing in the mountains. I topped Aften Mountain on Interstate 64 the day before yesterday at 53 mph, 20 pounds of boost and 1250 egt towing a hayrake on a gooseneck. And that was out of overdrive.

Several years ago I topped that same stretch of 64 at 35 mph and 1200 degrees. That was when the 93 I had then was bone stock and was pulling my Jeep on a 20' tilt top trailer.
