How to adjust clutch-start interlock?
How to adjust clutch-start interlock?
To start my truck you gotta bury the clutch pedal in the floor to get it to start, a lot of people can't even push hard enough to start it. I was looking at it and can't see how to adjust it. Thanks for the help,

It's not adjustable. I bet the pushrod bushing is worn out, it may even be as bad as mine was where the pin on the side of the pedal is worn halfway through. Check the linkage at the pedal.
When I had to press like crazy I found out that one of the bolts holding the clutch cylinder had fallen off and the plastic face was bending when I pressed the clutch. It felt a lot like a worn out clutch and it was hard to get the starter to engage. Get someone to press the clutch pedal while you look underneath. If the cylinder flexes you may have had the same problem I had..
I may just try to defeat the interlock because it can be handy to use the starter to move off a railway crossing with a stalled engine. Also, with a somewhat dead battery I can do a push start by myself and use the combo of the weak starter and the slowly rolling truck to get going.
