horn won't work
Ok, so my horn works, but it wont stop making noise so i had to disconnect it. Does anyone have any ideas about what i can do or where to start looking to fix it? I would like to upgrade to a big rig horn while i'm at it has anyone done that? But if i could just get the original working that would be fine too. Keep in mind i don't know anything about a vehicles electrical system so please be detailed. Thanks.

Check the relay. It could be stuck closed, completing the circuit.
Also check the steering wheel return springs, if the are too soft, they can cause the circuit to stay closed as well.

i got crafty with a knife and a piece of foam used in packing (the type thats like in a sheet and cloth like) and in sill plates on houses, cut out the form of the piece of factory foam between the two pieces of metal in the horn that complete the circuit, shoved it in there and put it back together...never had a problem since.

It's most likely the switch. The plastic that holds the contacts apart gets brittle. You can take it apart and figure out a fix like the last poster said.
