Hi all, i just finshed my install of my L tank in my bed.. have a ball valve outa the tank, into a carter 12 volt fuel pump, into my vent tube. tonight my girlfreind and i were outside and saw a big puddle under my truck.. it just flows into my tank and oferflows from the top of my tank.. i forgot to close the ball valve !!.. any type of shut off?/elec check valve i can install after the fuel pump.. any ideas?? i just want to be dummy proof

 

2 3-way valves so you draw directly out of the 2nd tank. one for the draw and one for the return.

That is the reason why the setup you did is dumb!

 

put a 12v normaly closed sol. valve wired in with the pump switch before the pump so fuel is not sitting in the pump till you turn it on

 

thats what im going to do! where can i pick a 12 v nc sol at? thanks !
