I haven't had to time to work on it much. I did replace the supply fuel pump, I think the other one was bad. It still quits, but has more power. I'm replacing and troubleshooting parts from the supply pump back to the tank.
I think it might be the fuel line quick disconnect on the supply pump. It turns around very freely appears to be missing an O-ring inside the connection. I applied some RVT siliconein the fitting and it helped. Tonight, I'm replacing the quick disconnect with a compression fitting.
I'll keep you posted.

ITS FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!! I replaced the quick disconnect on the lift pump. I cut off the quick disconnect and installed a brass compression fitting on the fuel line.
It must have barely been leaking, because its a lot more peppy now.
Guys, check your fuel line quick dissconnect at the end of your fuel line. Mine felt loose and sloppy and it started sucking air.
Thanks for all the support and reccommendations while troubleshooting my problem. This is why the website ranks #1 for Dodge Cummins owners.
Thanks again

I changed the lift pump and the same thing happened to me. Some air got through the injection pump into the high pressure side. Only when I cracked three of the six lines did it start back up. Because you keep having the problem, I suspect you have an air leak (maybe in the high pressure side), meaning you have to continually bleed the air out.

I've always had a stuck fuel soliniod valve when that has happend. try taking out the valve and give it a good cleaning. Don't drop the little spring !!! boy there hard to find ! I also use a little vise grip to get the valve out.
