It's actually very effective. The heater core warms the air and the A/C dries it, it defogs the window much better that way.

indeed, but then drips condensation and pisses me off after sitting in traffic for an hour to get home. lol.

You'll be able to smell if it is antifreeze or not. Condensation is natural when the defrost is running, so don't worry. It doesn't do you any harm. If it is clear, you're in the clear!! I hope that's the case.

I took a look at my truck, and I wouldn't want to have to do that rotten job! Good luck.

looks as though i lucked out, i drove it to my welding store today across town and didnt run the heater, all is wekk no leaking. thanks guys , jiMMy
