Ok so after the search to find a good heater box with hvac that wasn’t cracked, the search is over, I found one in one of the yards within an hour from me, so I ordered a new heater core and cleaned the rest of the box the foam on the lid and around the side that goes into the engine bay needs replaced, does any one have a part number or a link to replacement foam?

Search on e-bay there is a company selling a complete re-seal kit for the HVAC box.

 

Detroit Muscle Technologies has a kit and numerous parts for 1st gens.
