1. what is the plug in thing behind the power steering pump that has 2 wire going too it, and goes into the block?

2. why is it leaking oil?

Its probably leaking cause the thread sealant is gone or the unit is damaged. Its in an easy fix/replace item.

Don't get a parts store replacement, the Dodge one is pricey but worth it.
