Ok guys this is gonna be long, but I gotta vent! I've been trying for the past few days to get financed for one of these toy haulers. As stated earlier, I tried to get financed for 6 acres and shop w/ apartment above. Had 20,000 down and credit didn't quite make excellent, but is very good. been talking to bank for 3 months and when I finally said start the paper work, I was asked few questions and then told sorry for the mix up but we don't do those kinds of loans! WHAT? How can you be that confused? I told them every detail upfront. Then just the other day I went to them for the toy hauler. (reason I keep w/ them they cater to the military) I make 58,000/yr had 8,000 to put down and was told that I couldn't get financed for anything. I also have no bills and I am not in any debt. Except for 1800 I owe on a loan for my truck. I just dont get i! They say they couldn't finance me for the land cause it has a structure on it and only way to get financed for land w/ structure thats not a house is to have had a prior mortgage for a good length of time to show payment history. I'm 24yrs. How the can I have a prior mortgage for very long? Couldn't get the hauler cause they expect me to pick up a "real" mortgage. They just told me 2 days ago I couldn't get the mortgage. Bout decided to quit my job live of welfare and sell crack! I'm in Memphis TN, seems to be the majorities way of life! I'm still not done, but I'll give ya'll a break!
