Question Has anyone seen an IP leak here??

This leak has been getting progresively worse since late December, it started as a small drip and now it is a serious leak.

Injection Pump is leaking between the body of the pump and the distributor head (part where all the injection lines come out of). It seems to be coming out of the bottom screw that is farthest away from the engine block.

I have tried to tighten the head on there but they were not loose.
I have tried to disconect the KSD to reduce the pressure but that has not helped.

Truck runs fine other then this so I don't want to have to rebuild the IP although it does have 186,000 miles on it (is it about time?) and I am tempted to just drive it and leave a diesel slick wherever I go...

***The BIG question is if I pull the pump can I just unbolt the distributor head and replace the gasket myself or is it more involved???

Thanks - Josh

It sounds like the seals and O rings are showing age. you can take it to a pump shop and have it resealed not sure on cost. but it might be time for a IP anyways. Good luk
