1990 to 91 grill swap

I have a 1990 250 LE turbo diesel and was wondering if anyone has swapped the 90 style grill with the 91-93 grills? the body looks the same to me but I am not sure.

Yes, it will fit just like it was made to go there. You just need to drop the headlight buckets 1/2".

From what I've heard, you need to move the headlights up about an inch but otherwise the swap works OK. I'm planning on doing this myself with a unit from http://www.mrtaillight.com/ .

Welcome to the board.I tryed this set up on my 90, it is doable BUT, you need to move the lights up 1.25" and out about 3/4". also the turn signal light openings in the core support need to be cut larger.if you try to install an intercooler it wont work with out major mods to the core support. and moving coolers.your best bet to do the swap is to find a 91.5 -93 core support then it will all bolt up clean. I have a brand new grill kit sitting in my shop but it will have to go on another rig.

anyone know where i can get a new 91.5-93 core support??????

Well I thought I had a 1990 250 but I had not paid for it yet and it was sold to someone else(they sell real quick). But I now have my eyes set on a 1992 250 4x4.
