Happy to Say we picked up 2 more today
Today, headed out on a 2.5hr drive to go look at a 92 cummins engine. It was at a Junkyard, well it was a really really low mile motor, but it had been in a wire fire. We ended up getting it, and also picked up another that was a 90 model, we just couldn't pass up the deal!!!!!!! It was fun seeing all the looks on peoples face with 2 cummins in the back of the truck.
So now we have 2 more chevys to convert over, these two are going in the 80's body style trucks.

Yeah, we did get lucky on that deal. What kind of truck are you looking for, I do happen to come across a few trucks every now and then!!!!
The first gen motors are getting cheaper and cheaper, I think everyone has written them off, thinking there is no more power left in them. I think we VE guys have been still making leaps, and I am shure very soon there is going to be another leap like the KTA head. (even thought there is still some bugs in the head) There is still a lot of good things about the VE pumps!!!!!!!

Conversion To 12 V
Hi , I am a newbie here, I have a 1991 Chevy, 1 ton duallie. I have a thought. I am thinking of converting my chevy motor for a cummins 12 v, is this possible and if yes, how much am I going to spend on this conversion. Or should I just look for a dodge truck with a cummins diesel and be done with it. I dont use the truck very much, just form pulling a slide in camper and pulling my jeep, for jeeping down here in Texas. With camper on about 6 times a year, jeeping with camper about 4 times a year, any help out there would be appreciated. I don't want to spend big bucks for a new diesel, since I dont pull a lot. Thanks everyone, Zarr
