Got my "new " truck-Questions

Well, got the "new to me " truck home Saturday night.
Over-all pleased with teh trade, but I think I am gonna miss the flat-bed!

The new one, a 93 D350, does have a few issues however.....
the electrical system has been butchered and i am gonna need to find a wiring diagram for it to try and correct it. ( Did a search here and didint find one for a 93)

The speedo is not working , tho we replaced the VSS on Saturday. Is there some adjustment or settings on this? Some of the dash gauges are also not acting right, where is the ground for the dash located?

Does anyone have a lead on replacement parking brake cables? The PO cut them off and I am real uncomfortable not having the parking brake.

the powers steering pump is leaking and covering the whole underside with fluid.. real messy and I am gonna hve to clean that up and fix it, hieully its just a hose...

The left tail light sockets are fryed, but I think i can get those at the local NAPA....

One rear fender well is cracked and possibly beyond repair... wonder how much a new one runs........

BUT.. over-all I like it... gonna be a good truck once the little things are straightened out.

Glad you're back on your wheels. I got replacement e-brake cables (the part from the fuel tank to the rear wheel) at the local autoparts. I'm not sure what to recommend if you're missing the part from the pedal to the fuel tank. Good luck with it.

Jason, I am happy with the truck, and the BOSS is wanting to start driving it...

Nuttin major is wrong.... the fuel gauge drops from 3/4 to 1/4 while it still has 3/4 tank.
The voltmeter is reading 16 then 12 then 16 ... probably a bad ground in the dash panel. no big deal.

We made it back with no issues.. the speedo still isnt working, pulled the gear reducer last night and its chewed to pieces( the plastic drive gear inside the tranny) and I have it on order. It isnt the vent tube that is leaking , it is the VSS cover, the O-ring seal isnt seating right.

I am trying to decide wether to repair or replace the fender well since I am not the best in teh world at working with glass....

The front parking brake cable is like 30 bucks from NAPA, I need one as well. The fuel gauge I couldnt really answer that one, mine says when its full, and then 5 gallons later it reads empty.

Hey Swampthang, Where did you find dually fenders for 200 bucks? I need both sides mine r smashed.
