Got my IC and intake horn!!!!!

I got a slightly used 2nd Gen IC for $68. It looks great and is good shape, only a few bent fins even. The intake horn was about $90, but its new so I can live with that. Now all I have to do is come up with some pipe and bends and couplers. Any ideas of what to use here? How much power should I gain on an over fueled non IC first gen with cool air?

I guess next should be HTT III and POD's

PS screw the tranny, let it burn!!!!!! I have better plans there.

Mucho power! Did you have the IC pressure checked before buying it??? I wouldn't touch a used IC with any damage, even the nice looking ones leak. As far as the pipes, if you could find oem in a junkyard, cut/weld it to fit. I used two sets to make mine. All 1st gen parts. I'm sure the junkyard is out of the question since you bought a new intake horn for $90 . I'll see what I can find this weekend at my local yard.

You got a great deal on that air charge cooler.
unfortunately that cooler has huge piping. I would guess 3 1/2 inch. you need to go to a wrecking yard and get the boost hoses. they are 3 1/2 on 1 end and 3" on the other, with a 45degree angle.
the side going to the intake manifold shoud not be too hard.
the side off the turbo will need some work. you may need a 91.5 to 93 fresh air housing on your turbo and a 94 up adapter to fit the air piping.
You are on the right track for more power and lower EGTs.
good luck

I'll probibly make my own pipes and bends, so I can keep the flow as high as possible.

Is $90 good or bad for a new intake horn?

I have a ATAAC from a '99 on mine.
I used the factory 2nd gen Dodge piping and lower boots. (I used silicone hose for the 2 straight ones.)
Also, a 2nd gen elbow on my PDR HX35.
I used a 2nd gen intake horn, and had to only shorten the pipe (intake manifold side) a little to make everything fit.
Now for the POD's I have sitting here.
