got gauges, got 3.2ksp, got diesel....ready for pump mods

Hey guys,
Ready to tweak my pump! A couple of things come to mind before I start.
What are the differences between fuel pin & the full power screw???
I am looking to spin my 16cm a little faster, Without affecting tow ability
& fuel economy too much. I would like to have better spool up when I
push the small pedal. I do have the self control to just cruise
for economy. (I think) Looking for your input on which combinations might be best suited for my needs.
Later, I may be interested in buying injectors? I am eventually looking to get in the neighborhood of 225 HP. just pump tweaks for now.
Thanks,
Bryan

The full power screw gives you access to more fuel across the board. Changing the fuel pin gives you access to more fuel when there is boost.

Set the fuel pin so the deep side is towards the front, turn the star wheel in a couple turns (will speed spoolup) and see how you like it. You should also play with the smoke screw on the top of the pump when tuning for spoolup. Clockwise is more fuel available at zero boost.

When you want more, start twisting the full power screw.

Did you also try adjusting your throttle linkage? You can usually lower the idle that way once the screw is backed out enough.
