Not at that price. It looks to be an HX-35 with a water cooled turbine housing, so it's pretty much only good as a core.

Not what you want to do. That would cause bad turbo lag and overload the cooling system. The engine that turbo came off is a 5.9 liter that makes 330 HP @ 3,000 RPM and can do it for hours on end. Turbo lag is not something they worry about in that application, having the turbine housing crack due to long-term overheating is. They have a cooling system of unlimited capacity at their disposal as well.

I understand the rest of what you said, but why would this turbo be any more laggy than a non-watercooled turbo? Or is it that the HX-35's are laggy in general?

Turbos run on heat energy. Cooling the turbine housing dumps a bunch of that energy into the cooling system instead of converting it to rotary motion and making boost.
