it is with great sadness i post this message.igot rid of my truck about aweek ago for a 99f350 crew4wd.the only reason i made this change is i have a big family and truly neede a crew over the extended. i also wanted to go back to4wd.i truly believe the 12v cummins is the finest engine ever made. mine never once let me down.i towed my camper 1200 miles round trip once and never once felt as though i could break down.trusted that truck todrive around the world if it could go under water. the 2003 mega cab dodges were way outta my price range or i would have hade one.i got this truck for my 92 ctd and 6900 .it was a great deal on a very nice straight truck, also has ranch bumpers i wanted. in four or five years i will get an 03 ctd mega 4wd when i can afford it.i have already had to buy a cps for the ford as i hear the ford loves them. engine and tranny very strong not a bad truck.am completely lost under hood.the 12 valves simplicity and dependability will never be matched.sorry for such along post freinds. hope to find an old ctd for work truck.wish to stay on forum due to fondness of 12 valve and the great freinds i have met.thanks

Maybe in a few years you can swap a CTD into that Ford and have the space you need PLUS the reliability that you want. Check out http://cummins-conversion.com/phpBB/index.php to see how others have done it.
Best of luck w/ your new truck.
