Besides the A-pillar, where are you guys mounting your gauges? Post some pics, if possible. Also, does the steering column tach mount (for the '94 Dodge Ram) restrict your visibility with the PRND1 indicator? I saw these on Summit. Has anyone tried them and do you think they'd work? I want the option of three gauges together but the A-pillar pod from Autometer only has two.

I have the 94'+ steering column gauge pod. I installed a transmission temp gauge into it. The placement is real nice! The only thing I noticed was that it blocks your vision of 60mph +.

 

This plus a 2nd gen coluum pod.

 

I have 2 on the pillar, and one on the "hump" of the floor with a simple Autometer bracket. Soon there will be two on the floor. They are fairly out of the way.

 

I have 2 on the pillar and 3 on the dash. The dash pod is an autometer out of a 98-02. A little sanding and 3m tape it fits pretty well.

 

I really like the "big truck" look of this one :




Also, ease of gauge accessibility and not having to chase wires through confined places is a big plus.

Myself, I would double it's width, and have room for lots of switches.
